You might need this (I know I certainly did)

Hi Reader,

If you're a blogger and Amazon Associate, then you might have noticed the lovely little email Amazon sent out a couple of weeks back.

And by lovely, I mean completely ill-timed and stress-inducing.

I am talking about their notification that SiteStripe images will no longer work after December 31st.

This means that if you've been using SiteStripe to include linked images of the Amazon products you've been promoting on your blog, those images will start looking like this on Jan 1st:

This is obviously distressing because a page full of broken images is guaranteed to discourage views and clicks, which in turn, will tank your affiliate revenue. Meanwhile, replacing all the images can be a massive time suck that you simply don't have the bandwidth for when you have potentially hundreds of Amazon images on your site.

I know I didn't, and I was wondering what the heck I was going to do. The idea of spending my Christmas holidays updating image links made me want to scream.

Fortunately, I heard about Blog Fixer and their Amazon image fix service. For a very reasonable price, they will fix all your images so that when Jan 1st rolls around, you won't be faced with pages of blank squares and a subsequent drop in Amazon sales.

Plus, if you use coupon code BlackFriday2023 at checkout by Nov 27th, you'll get $50 off the service.

I bought this service yesterday; it was easy to follow the instructions, and now my site has joined the queue to get updated. One less thing I gotta worry about before the New Year!

If you are in the same boat as I was, I highly recommend you check it out!

Cheers,
Corrie

Hey Reader, Happy Saturday! There have been a lot of changes to the online landscape in recent months, thanks to Google and its (un)Helpful Content Update. That's why I've always been a big fan of diversifying my online presence - not just to supplement traffic and income but to build a true audience that is outside the influence of third parties. I'm talking about building your own community through an email list and/or membership. One of the best ways to do that in 2024 is through a writing...

Hey Reader, One of the most crucial things you can do as a content creator - whether you're a blogger, YouTuber, TikToker, or Medium Writer - is to grow and nurture an email list. Why? Because your email list is pretty much the only marketing asset you truly own. Google traffic can dry up overnight. Pinterest traffic can drop off a cliff without explanation. Heck, even Medium could decide to shut down its platform or arbitrarily decide to ban Call-to-Actions in their articles. And you...

Hi Reader! It's been a hot minute since I dropped by your inbox. With the arrival of the new year, there have been a lot of unforeseen changes, adventures, challenges, and projects! One such adventure was a recent vacation to the Caribbean (and long overdue - my first time traveling abroad since pre-COVID.) Since my return, I have been hard at work behind the scenes, having recently created a brand new niche blog that I'm very excited about! I noticed that, while I still love ChatGPT for a...
